Job Title: Application Software Engineer (Internship)

HealthCall, LLC is a medical communications company helping hospitals, physician groups, home health organizations, dialysis centers, contract research organizations, and medical equipment providers.
Reports to: Project Leader
Responsibilities:
- You will use various programming languages to code new and existing programs.
- You will test and debug new and modified programming.
- You will integrate new programming with existing systems.
- You will document new applications.
Qualifications:
- Obtaining formal education in Bachelor of Science (Information Technology, Computer Science, Information System, MIS or related discipline)
- Basic understanding of software lifecycle concepts and practices
- Experience in PHP programming within the application level (forms, validation, security, stateless programming, and going beyond simple web sites), JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, or SQL w/MySQL
- Excellent writing skills
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Good analytical, organizational, time, and project management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to change quickly
- Must sincerely enjoy helping people and be able to work well with others as part of a team
- Some knowledge or familiarity with healthcare is a plus
